SRINAGAR: In a major growth, the Transport Division of Jammu and Kashmir is all set to start the trial run of buses on three new routes from Monday and has sought suggestions from the general public.
Beneath the route integration plan, the built-in bus service on three new routes shall cowl the town’s main areas.
On Route 1, from Parimpora Bus Stand to Harwan, the bus will cowl all routes main by Budshah Chowk flyover through MA Highway, Dalgate, Nehru Park, Nishat and Shalimar and eventually to Harwan.
For Route 2 from Budgam to Hazratbal, the bus will cowl Humhama, Rambagh, LD, Rajbagh, TRC, Dalgate, Rainawari, and eventually to Hazratbal.
Route 3, ranging from Pantha Chowk Bus Stand, will journey by Sonwar, TRC through MA Highway, Budshah Chowk Flyover, Karan Nagar, Safakadal, Eidgah to Soura through Dr Ali Jan and return through the identical path to its place to begin.
Through the trial run on these routes, 40 to 45 buses of 25 to 32 seat capability will likely be deployed and the buses will run after a spot of quarter-hour. The variety of routes, variety of buses on the routes, and timing shall be improved based mostly on the success of the trial run.
Initially Buses service on every route shall begin from 8 in morning.
Additional, seats will likely be reserved for girls, senior residents and bodily challenged individuals in these buses.
