UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna at the moment convened a gathering of officers of assorted departments to overview the District highway security measures within the district .

Threadbare dialogue was held on varied facets together with enforcement of visitors guidelines, Identification of black spots, conducting of highway security audits, Institution of trauma care centres, Minimising highway accidents, Upkeep of roads, verify on Overloading, creation of Visitors Administration System, visitors decongestion measures particularly on the busy routes, set up of signages and many others.

The DC stated that after identification of black spots the involved departments have been requested to take remedial motion. Govt Engineers PWD and PMGSY had been directed to make sure common upkeep of the roads to keep away from highway accidents.

Visitors police division was requested to control visitors & cut back visitors jams and maintain verify on overloading with the assistance of native police for the comfort of most of the people.  The DC requested the involved to conduct an audit of the highway security on quarterly foundation and maintain common conferences and arrange consciousness camps on this regard.

The Chief Training Officer was directed to prepare an consciousness programme on highway security measures within the faculties.
