Encounter breaks out in Sidhra Jammu – The Dispatch

Jammu: A gunfight has began between Authorities forces and militants in Sidhra space of Jammu district on Wednesday morning. 

An official stated that on particular inputs in regards to the presence of militants, a cordon and search operation was launched within the space by a joint group of forces within the Sidrah space. 

As forces zeroed in in the direction of the suspected spot, hiding militants fired upon which the forces retaliated, triggering an encounter, he instructed information company KNO.

Two to a few militants are believed to be trapped and firing was occurring when this report was filed.
